A Snippit of History, Our Mission, ond Our Guarantee
Our personable little shop was born in 1991 when Ed Reiman, our founder, manifested a vision with fine cotton clothing by Wek. He started out with a couple of shelves and some hangers to hold a few of his favorites to share with people in his life. Word spread, and comfort-seeking folks soon discovered "The Oregon Cotton Mill" in its hole-in-the-wall basement location. The rest is history, and we're still here sharing what we believe in, and that is, the integrity of our lines which are (with very few exceptions) made in US and Canada.
Now twenty years later, that once "little shop" is still just as personable, but now enjoys a new location right along Eugene's main drag, and has grown up to contain so many shelves and hangers that we've lost count. It is important to note also that in the last few years, our WEBSITE has become a very significant part of our sales. An increasing number of folks are enjoying the convenience of shopping on-line. Our well-informed, friendly staff not only depend on our quality clothing in their own lives, they are committed to providing you with the personal service you'd be hard pressed to find anywhere else!
Therefore, we believe that you'll not only be enthralled with our customer care and the quality and comfort of our clothing, but also, if for some reason you're not, you will be compensated immediately. That's a promise!

About the owner
Norma McKenzie, born and raised in Honolulu, a mom of three and grandma of two, was a public school teacher for 30 years. She and her family moved from Hawaii to Oregon in 1976 where they enjoyed rural life to the max in southwest Eugene. It was during those years that Norma and her family became very accustomed to practical, comfortable clothing. In 1998 she took a part-time job at Oregon Cotton Mill and just couldn’t seem to get enough or stay away. Sharing and spreading the word about these wonderful clothes became her passion along with raising Golden Retrievers. Just three years after becoming an employee at "the Mill", her vision became a reality, and she became the new owner. To this day, she continues to love the Business as well as serving her growing number of customers -- who have now become the ones who just can’t seem to get enough or to stay away!
CHRISTMAS SHOPPING NOTES from Norma...
Christmas is no longer about draining American pockets so that
China can build another glittering city. Christmas is now about caring about
US, encouraging American small businesses to keep plugging away to follow
their dreams. And, when we care about other Americans, we care about our
communities, and the benefits come back to us in ways we couldn't imagine.
THIS is the new American Tradition…Buy products made in America!
